Who we are

Kerosene Skincare Inc is based in Ontario, Canada and operates kerosenes.com. We are responsible for the personal information we handle in running our store. For privacy questions or requests, email keroseneskincare@gmail.com or use our Contact form. Please mark your message “Privacy request”.

Information we collect

When you place an order, we collect the contact and delivery information you provide, including your name, email address, shipping and billing addresses, and phone number if provided. We also keep order details, payment status, transaction references and customer-service correspondence.

If you submit a contact form, newsletter signup, giveaway entry or review, we receive the information you choose to provide. Newsletter information includes your email address and subscription preferences. Information you submit for a public review may appear with that review; please avoid including private information.

Our Webador-hosted website also uses technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, pages visited and cookies to operate and protect the store. Optional analytics or marketing tools, where enabled, may collect browsing and interaction information according to the choices available to you.

How we use information

We use information to process payments and orders, arrange delivery from Ontario, send order and shipping updates, answer questions, investigate defective-product reports, administer entries to a giveaway you enter, maintain business records and protect against fraud or misuse.

We use subscription information to send marketing messages when you have consented or where otherwise permitted by applicable law. You can unsubscribe using the link in a marketing email or contact us. Entering a giveaway does not itself mean you have subscribed to marketing. Essential order and service messages are separate from marketing.

Payments

Payment information entered at checkout is handled by the payment provider selected for your transaction under its own privacy and security terms. Please do not email us full card numbers, passwords or other payment credentials. We use payment confirmations and transaction details to manage orders and support enquiries.

Service providers and disclosures

We share information needed to provide the services you request with Webador for website hosting and store operations, payment providers for payment processing, delivery providers for shipping, and service providers supporting customer communications and business records. These providers may process information in Canada or other countries. Information processed outside Canada may be accessible to authorities under the laws of those countries. Read Webador’s privacy policy for information about its handling of data.

We do not sell or rent customer personal information. We may also disclose information where required or permitted by law, to respond to valid legal requests or to protect against fraud and security threats.

Cookies and choices

Cookies and similar technologies support functions such as security, shopping carts, checkout and remembering preferences. Where optional analytics or marketing technologies are enabled, your information may also be used to understand site use or advertising performance. Use any cookie controls displayed on the site to manage available choices. You can also manage or delete cookies through your browser settings; blocking essential cookies can prevent parts of the store or checkout from working.

Retention and safeguards

We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, including order fulfilment, customer support, accounting, tax and legal obligations or resolving disputes. Retention periods vary by record type and legal requirements. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information and limit access to those who need it for the relevant purpose. No online system or method of transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your privacy requests

You may contact us to request access to or correction of your personal information, ask about our practices, withdraw consent where applicable, request deletion or raise a concern. We may need to verify your identity before acting. We will explain any legal or practical limits, including records we must retain. Withdrawing information needed to complete an order may prevent us from providing that service. If your concern is not resolved, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Updates and contact

We may update this policy when our practices change and will post the revised date here. For questions, contact Kerosene Skincare Inc, Ontario, Canada, at keroseneskincare@gmail.com or through our Contact form.
